A Short Run to “Yes Bye Fries”

Despite thinking that we would have only four cars and seven people on the run, nine cars and seventeen people gathered at the New Maryland Irving for our departure at 11:45. As suspected, the autumn colours were much improved from last week and the day was bright, warm and cloudless.
Despite the fact that Yes Bye Fries is housed in a small trailer, the husband and wife team did an admirable job taking our orders and dealing with other customers as they arrived. The pleasant weather made our short wait for our food a great time to engage in typical FABAC member chatter. After everyone ate too much, we headed back up the highway to the Whittaker Road and out to the Patrick Owen covered bridge for a short stop. Downtown Rusagonis hadn’t seen that much traffic in some time.
All in all, given the weather, I think everyone enjoyed the 3 hour run.

Great run! I would have joined you but Morgan and I went to Mill Cove to do a little entertaining at the nursing home. Beautiful day!

Nice to see you folks had fun. Members of the new and secret sub-club, TGHCOW, also had a productive day.
