Report on February Meeting - Bob E.

Despite the threat of (yet) another winter pounding,  FABAC presented a quorum to the Hilltop restaurant on Prospect Street. Since it's been a while since we last met, members were quite boisterous as we caught up and exchanged lies.   As always, Gary quieted us down and quickly got to business.  It looks like the driving season will be a good one as we already have a full spring calendar.
  • The annual St. Patrick's day bash will once again be hosted by the lovely and talented Jim & Lorraine Woodford at their place on the 9th of March.  PLEASE RSVP by the 7th of March.  By the way, this will also be our monthly meeting.
  •  Larry and Sandy will host a potluck at their place in Stanley on the 27th (maybe the 28th?) of July.
  • Kelvin will host the (by now) annual St. George's Day bash at his place (now in Noonan) on the 27th of Apr.  I'm hoping that this will also be an opportunity to inspect his new paint booth (hint, hint).
  • John and Shirley Ann have organized a sugar shack outing for the 6 or 7th of April.  Lots of sticky fun for sure!
  • Stephen will be arranging the lobster run in May.
John stumped the crowd with another round of brain teasers on the subject of British car lore.  It is now agreed that people who where born in the UK will have a handicap applied during future challenges.   ...and to round out the evening, Tim was serenaded by all as he blew out the candle(s) on his birthday pie.  We had the good taste to NOT ask him his age; not that he would have revealed it anyway.
