Lobster Run proposed

A run is proposed for Sunday, the 12th of May, to celebrate the opening of lobster season.
The run will be to http://whitetailfisheries.ca/ which opens on the 12th.
Folks will meet at the Burton Courthouse just outside Oromocto on the 102 for a 11:00 AM departure down the scenic river drive towards Saint John.
We hope some (or all) of the Saint john crowd can meet us there.

Thought I would share a photo of my Jag with French plates on it.  I’ve had a couple of emails with the buyer and he seems happy.

Important Update re Saint George’s Day celebration

Kelvin had a basement flooding incident a couple of weeks ago and his house is a bit topsy turvy while repairs and refinishing go on in the basement. So, looks like no FABAC Celebration of Saint George’s Day this year...
unless...
some kind soul would like to offer their home to this event.

Report on Dumfries Pancake Run

Dwight and I were kinda disappointed as the two of us left Timmies but were buoyed a bit as Kelvin drove up.  Unbeknownst to us, others lurked in the parking lot, trapped in their cars by the ankle twisting mess of frozen snush (snow & slush).   We had no idea that a trail of cars followed us out of the city to the dam where we met more FABACians.
Once at Dumfries we made great sport of urging Dwight to attempt the icy hill on his summer tires.  We were also joined by another whole passel of folks, some of which struggled under the weight of many grandkids.
In all we had eighteen(?) FABACians both large and small to enjoy breakfast and syrup.  The preceding days snow storm hadn't slowed us down a bit and we had a record breaking run for our first outing.  We had the place mostly to ourselves and with the bright sunshine pounding through the windows, didn't notice when the high winds took out the power.  There were lots of stories from winter getaways to warm the place.

Here’s a link to an interesting website.

One could spend a lot of time (well wasted) checking out videos that might be of interest.
