Last week's FABAC dinner-meeting report

Gary used the brief calm before the food fight to recap the past month's outings.

  •  John D's trip to Sussex was a well attended hit.
  •  The 'It's-great-to-get-back-to-Adolf's-in-Knightsville' run for Octoberfest was a long awaited run.
Upcoming happenings:
  • The all too FAB Holiday party is once again at the Freddy Inn near the top of the hill. Watch for date and timings but I seem to remember that it's scheduled for the 14th of Dec.
  • Dianne E will be collecting money for the local food banks.  Cheques can be made out to her, and the food bank will issue receipts in folks' names for tax purposes.
  • Be aware that Covid continues to morph and lurk (kinda like the Power Rangers) so be prepared for a resumption of Zoom meetings.
  • Phil's weekly breakfasts at The Sunshine Diner continue to be FABulous and well attended.
  • The next meeting (January) will be at the Byblos Restaurant at 215 Queen St.

FABAC Holiday Party Dec 14 - CONFIRMED

We have now surpassed the minimum number of 20 members required for our Holiday Party. So I've confirmed it with the Fredericton Inn. All the party details have been previously posted.

As mentioned, the club has decided to support 2 food bank charities this year. So for those who wish to contribute to these charities please bring a cheque or cash. Diane will forward the names of the charities later.

There is still time to sign up for the party, now that we have the minimum required, but please do not leave it too late.

  Happy Holidays,

Fab FABAC breakfasts

It was only a week ago that it was in the high teens and folks where driving around with their tops down, basking in the warm fall weather.  The weekly Tuesday morning breakfasts continue to be popular and we even occasionally talk about cars.
