THE ROADSTER FACTORY
ARMAGH, PA

Dear TRF Customer-

I hope you are doing well.  I am staying busy and thinking of ways to get some aspects of TRF going again.  We had a shipment of stock from our UK suppliers delivered a few days after the fire that I have in storage.  I am hoping to get that unpacked in the next few weeks and I am working on some different ideas about how to list those parts for sale.  The tooling for the parts we have reproduced is safe with our manucturers and we can have new batches of those parts made.  I have a shipment in transit from our Taiwan manufacturer that will include our famous yellow fans and the long awaited backlight seals for the TR6 hardtop.  That should be delivered by the middle of March.

I would also like to get our trim shop, The Magic Carpet Factory, running again.  Brenda is eager to come back to work, but most of her patterns were destroyed in the fire  We would like to make new patterns, but we need some help.  If you recently bought a carpet set, hoodstick cover or headliner kit that you have not installed yet, please get in touch by replying to this email.  We are especially interested in TR2 thru TR6 items to start off with.  We can arrange a shipping label for you and we will return the kit to you within a couple of weeks.

Below is a picture I took of TRF on January 3.  I hope to include more pictures of TRF as we make progress.  Thanks for your support.

best,
Albert

Report on January Meeting

We started 2024 off with a dinner at Dimitri's Greek restaurant, an old favourite with everybody.  Strangely, it was deserted except for our group.  We realized that 'Dine around Freddy' was starting the next night, hence the lack of customers.

As always, Gary took the floor with a New Years greeting to all.
  • Dianne E. was thanked for the Holiday party.
  • Gary's yearly synopsis will be given at the March meeting to coincide with the club's anniversary.
  • The team of Phil and John D. are planning a summer trip to Owl's Head in Maine.
  • There's a trip to Greenwood in NS to the massive airshow for the 100th anniversary of the RCAF   August 24th and 25th.
  • Gary made a call for day runs.
  • The next meeting will be at Carnations restaurant in Oromocto on the 21st of Feb.  Watch for snow.

FABAC Dinner Meeting - Dimitri's Restaurant - Wednesday Jan.17/24

At our December Holiday meeting we decided to have our January meeting at the Carnation Rose restaurant in Oromocto. However, they are closed on our regular meeting date so I decided to reserve our January dinner meeting at Dimitri's restaurant, 347 Queen St., for on Wed Jan 17/24 at 5:30.

I hope to see you there.

   Happy New Year to everyone,

                Gary
