This brought back memories from the 60s. In 1968 I went to the Earls Court Motor Show with the thought of ordering a new Morgan. What did I wear to the show? I wore black bell bottom trousers with a pink shirt, a pink tie with white flowers on covered by a black 3/4 length jacket that came down to my knees, and topped off with burgandy patent leather shoes. Oh and the pink shirt was see through !!!!!! Didn't buy the Morgan but bought a yellow Ford Escort RS1600, the WRX of its day. Oh my god,what was I thinking, but that was what the "in" set were wearing. I am just thankful no photos survived the ravages of time.
