Gerald Elliott Racing

On my way to the British Motoring Festival in Windsor, I stopped in Enfield, NS for a visit with Gerald Elliott.  Some may remember him joining us in our Zoom Meetings during Covid. Gerald attended UNB and as part of the sports car club knew a few people that we are familiar with including Herb Walsh, Larry Brown and Dave Strang.  Gerald is now confined to a wheelchair but still works on cars with his son Mark.  He is rebuilding a Lotus 7 twin cam that he has owned since 1997 and making changes and upgrades to make it eligible for SCCA racing.  The Cortina is getting some major changes as well; a Ford 2.0L EcoBoost engine with about 400HP, custom dry sump oiling system, bigger brakes all around, a carbon fibre wing, custom front fenders and suspension changes to handle the big horsepower.  Here's a few photos of the shop are attached.  The cleanliness and organization of the shop is amazing!
