The first meeting/dinner of 2026 (what!....already?) took place at the Hilltop on Prospect St. A bumper crowd of 23 showed up—exactly the same as last January. Maybe the month is gifted?
Gary greeted everyone and launched into a rousing call for something—anything to help us celebrate our 25 years of mayhem and shenanigans.
- Phil gave some details of the planned 3 day-4 night trip he's planning around Nova Scotia and Cape Breton, with a ferry ride stuck in there somewhere. Dates will be announced later. Anyone planning on attending MUST verify attendance with Phil soonest.
- Henning mentioned his experience playing phone tag while trying to contact a club member. I'll be contacting all currently active members to verify contact numbers. This list will be made available to all members with the stipulation that it be used for personal contact only. Only those giving permission to have their info added will be included.
Because we liked the Hilltop so much we decided to return there for the February meeting. Mark your calendars for the 18th of February.
The picture that accompanies this report showcases the mug I received for Christmas. It seems that someone has thrown down the gauntlet regarding my Jag that's been languishing in the garage for 7 years now.
*sigh* Yes I'm working on her again and will absolutely have her on the road this summer.
