With all the hype and TV coverage of the Olympics, I think we would be remiss if FABAC did not acknowledge the participation of at least two of our members.
Vanoc (Vancouver Olympic Committee) set out to create nation wide awareness of the Olympics by running the Olympic Torch through as many small towns in Canada as possible, complete with neighborhood celebrations.
By the size of the turnout to hear Carolyn sing, and see Karen run, it seems they succeeded.
