The Fredericton Area British Automobile Club is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2011. Our first meeting was on a cold February day in 2001 when a group of people sharing a common interest in British automobiles met at the lodge at O'Dell Park.
Our first event is a get-together for meeting, eating and greeting. We hope that you will join us, even if it is the first time you have attended any of our events. We hope to have a good turnout of all members, and especially those who attended the very first meeting.
When: February 16 from 5 until 8 (or so); eating at 6:00 (or so)
Where: Riverside Resort and Conference Centre near Mactaquac. We have a separate room booked. (Thanks to Jim Bleakney and Johanna Bertin for checking out places for us and making arrangements.)
What's for eats?: Their regular menu with items ranging from chowders ($5.49 or $9.99), soups, salads, bruschetta, nachos ($9.49) and wings ($5.49 or $8.99) to Entrées like ribs ($13.99 or $19.99), salmon ($17.99), rib-eye ($19.99), and fish & chips ($7.99 or $10.99). Pretty much something for everyone.
If you have any photos, memorabilia, etc from those early days, bring them along.
You do not have to place your food order ahead of time but you MUST let us know who is coming.
