Bob E's FABAC Meeting report April 18/2012

A whole bunch of FABACians milled around in the parking lot outside Montana's restaurant in Knowledge Park Wednesday evening under not too cool skies and greeted the LBCs as they arrived.  There were a few out, some with tops down, but the star of the show had to be Bob and Rita's (mostly Rita's I'm told) spanking new Fiat 500.  Fiat has returned to these shores after almost thirty years and graced us with an updated version of a European classic.  There was much finger poking, test sitting, and opening of orifices (the car's).
  • Before dinner could be served, Jim grabbed the floor and quickly dispensed a bit of news and upcoming runs.
  • Joe Hine has asked for the services of FABACTRSAC (or whatever it's called) on Saturday (the 21st) to help him install the engine in his Jag.  Fun starts at ten (in the morning) and onlookers are welcome.
  • The lobster supper in Dumfries is on the 19th of May. -Don't forget the St Georges Day blast at Kelvin's place the end of the month.  This will be the last party at this location as he's moving to a new home soon.
  • The May meeting will be a Sam Sneads in Kingswood on the 16th of May.
  • A bit of Show & Tell ensued With Johanna presenting the group with small kilt made from the Canadian tartan and sporting a Canadian flag. It was a promotional item from Óffkilter' Bike tours.
