Bob's Winter Project

Under sunny (but c-c-c-old) skies, I boiled the head of the Jag to facilitate valve guide removal. It went well and the turkey cooker will be featured this summer during our upcoming corn boil (don't worry, I'll clean the pot).  The guides popped out easily with some tapping on Ian's valve guide whacker-outer tool.  While I wait for the first shipment of engine parts I've been infected by Ian and am doing some grinding, sanding and maybe a little polishing.  I've also taken the opportunity to blow some money on fancy tools I'll probably never use again, but...
