Moment of insanity?

Hi Dave:
I occasionally go to auctions, heavy equipment, machinery, cars and the like.  The auction bug caught up with me last week, much to Pam’s dismay.  I brought home my latest acquisition today.  This should keep me busy over the winter, think the wrinkles will buff out?  J

There is nothing like a bulge to tell one that there is something exciting underneath. ;-) Now, tell us the real reason you bought this—something with eight cylinders?

Almost right Dave. It's a 4.5 litre v6 with a pile of nice parts. A Costello Frontline front suspension system, Quaife 3.07 limited slip differential, high end anti-theft system, nearly new top, nice wheels and nearly new performance summer tires, and much more. I have the list of parts and machining operations done to the engine and it's in excess of $8,500. The engine should have well north of 350 horsepower.

I don't know what's worse, the paint job or bonnet modifications. I assume that the engine will find a new home?

Insanity never enters into an LBC purchase - we all know that.
