Alex was always so cheerful whenever Bruce and I visited him at Hospice. He loved having visitors.
Bruce and I dropped in to see him after the Stanley Fair on Saturday. Staff told us that he had passed away. They also told us how much they had enjoyed him, his cheerful and gracious manner, and how they missed him. He was well loved. Johanna
I'm glad I got to spend a few afternoons with him at hospice house over the past month. I loved the guy and will miss him.

Alex was the absolute description of a gentleman as anyone who knew him knows, and loved by all.
We will all miss him.

Bob and Rita will be postponing the monthly meeting so that we can all attend the funeral for Alex,we will re-schedule for Friday aug.23 if we can get a good turnout.

If you are very lucky in life you get to meet someone like Alex. He always had such a great smile which pretty much reflected his bright and friendly personality. Alex always made it a priority to attend our meetings and events driving all the way from Nackawic, sometimes in bad weather, right up until his latter years. For these and more reasons it makes it that much harder to see him leave us. I do take some comfort knowing I have great memories of Alex, a great person and a great friend.
