The August meeting was again in Carleton Park under warm late summer skies with a warm breeze off the river. Jenny had brought Kelvin in tow which made a quorum of 15 attendees.
Gary talked about the recent run to McAdam to meet with the Canadian Kruzers at the train station. The run was well attended with perfect weather.Upcoming events:
- The Stanley Fair is this Saturday the 20th. Excellent weather is promised.
- A visit to the Atlantic motorsport Park is being planned for sometime soon.
- Debi (Tim's partner) invited everyone to her 70th birthday bash at the Morningate Church on September 11th between 1 and 3 in the afternoon. The cake is free.
- John D (not to be confused with the tractor manufacturer) proposed a run to St. George for the 3rd of September.
- The next meeting will be at Hazen Park gazebo in Oromocto. It's the large wooden structure behind the Hazen Centre on the waterfront. Ample parking surrounds the building. There are plenty of food shops on Restigouche Rd.
