Carolyn and I visited the Wolfsburg factory on our honeymoon trip to Europe in 1969. They were making beetles back then of course. One came off the assembly line every minute! I remember how important it was to watch out for finished VWs coming off the line and being driven at quite high speeds for inside a factory. It was a full time job for people to move them out to the lot. We also visited the Morgan factory which was making one car a day, or maybe that was per week. Quite the contrast!!!
