My heart is breaking today after losing the love of my life this morning. Robbie is finally free from a long battle with Alzheimer's. This man was loved by all. He had a sharp wit and was a friend to all and he would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He adored all of his Grandkids and before he was diagnosed he would tell me every day that he loved me and always made me feel like I was the only woman in the world. I believe that he still knew who I was even towards the end. I'm going to miss him forever. Nettieđź’”

I received the message from Nettie on facebook yesterday, Robbie had declined fast in his care home and died yesterday morning. Thanks to David for finding some good photo's of Robbie. He was a car guy through and through. I only knew him for a few years, but considered him and Nettie good friends RIP Robbie.

That's a punch in the heart. Robbie was a great man and brought life and laughter to our gang. There's a couple of stories in the archives that feature Robbie's antics.

Robbie and Netti both left a lasting friendly legacy with our club when they moved away. We are all saddened to hear of Robbie's passing. He was a good man and will be remembered as an enthusiastic and a really freindly contributor to our club.
