Another Healey Hits the Road

Yup!
Hell has frozen over and there's a blue moon out! Bob Grant has driven the Healey! It made a few tentative trips to the local garage for a safety check and alignment the other day then made a shake down cruise out to Kelly Creek for the evening. It looks grand, sounds great and (according to Bob) goes like stink!
He has already made reservations for the Island cruise and Ian WILL be accompanying him. Speaking of the bearded wonder; he appeared a bit sad as the Healey left his shop. It's been a fixture there for many years and I think he's gonna miss it.

Morgan buys Rolls from VW and Jag from TATA
Morgan Motors of Malvern Link, maker of the last of the real British sports cars, has recently announced closing a deal to purchase Rolls Royce and Jaguar to bring both back to the British. Sources say that the famous wooden frame will be used in the redesign of the complete line of cars. No mention was made of just how the engineers at Morgan will effectively stiffen the ride of the Rolls and the Jags to make them more Morgan-like. One suggestion, well received, was to remove all suspension parts completely. A test vehicle is in the works and promises to be interesting to say the least. Stay tuned!

St. Pat's Party
Fellow Fabacians,
Jim and Lorraine Woodford have generously offered to host a St. Patrick Party at their home on Saturday, 15th of March - 6:00 PM -159 Mactaquac Heights, Keswick Ridge - click on map for directions. There will be prizes for best costume worn inside or out - just ask Faith Sharp, our last year's winner. This will be a pot luck fare occasion and I have asked Lorraine what dishes would be helpful from our culinary members. Lorraine has suggested casseroles, salads and a few desserts. Jim and Lorraine will provide pick-up food and refreshments. May I ask pot luck contributors to let Lorraine know of their dish before party time - - call 363-4697 or cell 470-0179 There will be music, song and entertainment - see you there.
