As discussed at our last meeting, BATANS are on a week long tour through NB/Quebec on route to the Rexton car show the first week of August and we have invited the group to our house for an afternoon of relaxation, socializing and (what we seem to do best) gorging in a fabulous FABAC pot luck dinner. Sheila Sperry is co-ordinating their trip and will spend the night of August 2nd at the Riverside Resort allowing them to spend the afternoon/evening with us. At present they have 5 confirmed cars travelling on this tour with others joining them at the Rexton car show.
Last summer we had a great afternoon/evening get together here with Bob Earl showing us his expertise (or at least his willingness to try) at water skiing and this year we will try again, and again, etc. Bring a bathing suit, towel, and lawn chairs (please). Think about what you would like to bring for pot luck and be ready to tell us at next Wednesday's meeting (in the event all want to bring salad, let's coordinate to ensure a variety).
As always, let's hope for the weather to cooperate for outdoor activities, but if it rains we will have the pot luck regardless. Directions to our house will be advised to those confirming their participation prior to the scheduled date.
