I don’t know if you received this or not so passing it on. I watched the episode trailer and noticed a distinguished looking gentleman driving a Morgan, another gentleman displaying a fully stocked fancy wicker picnic set and a beautiful metallic blue MGB Roadster driving up the entrance to Kings Edgehill School. Guess I’ll have to wait until the show is aired in the US before watching it on the computer.

Bob's Tech Session Report
Despite typically lousy weather (with therefore typically lousy roads) six people showed up in my garage today to burn holes in my workbench with soldering irons. It was a grand little session which saw numerous tips exchanged while we fiddled with an old wiring loom (Joe's former wiring from the Jag) and got a little lightheaded from the soldering flux fumes.
Everyone had fun and we all agreed to do this more often. Kelvin volunteered to lead a session on welding after Dwight mentioned that he'd like to learn that particular skill.
(If anyone would like some one-on-one soldering practice please call me. I'm usually around and love any excuse to fiddle in the garage.)

It inherits the modern engine 1200 cm3 Fiat Balilla and Simca 8, transfigured by the trainer Roger Deho, which is the power of 45 to 85 hp and a top speed around 180 km / h pass.
Deho installs a special cylinder head, a magneto ignition, balanced crankshaft, intake and exhaust manifolds reviewed with one or two carburetors.
Aerodynamic bodywork is designed by Marcel Grolleau in Paris.
Used in rallies and racing odds as well as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this Barquetta is perfectly restored and ready to run
Roger Deho comes in Paris in 1908 to the world and discovered early his passion for fast cars. Particularly intense , he deals with the engine . After Deho worked for several years as a car mechanic , he opened his own workshop in 1932 for engine tuning , specializing in sports and racing cars . His model is Amédée Giordini who has already made as a tuner of Fiat automobiles and as a racer a name. Just as Giordini Deho builds vehicles for the race at Le Mans.
The vehicle offered was completely built based on a Fiat Simca 8 chassis new and is in fantastic condition. The whole technique has been overhauled , the aluminum body is Deho racing cars. Under the hood, the small , dynamic sports car gets its power from a tuned four-cylinder engine with 1221 cc. Due to the low vehicle weight of the vehicle has very sporty driving . The interior offers big space for two people.

Bob Earl's filthy garage will reek with the acrid smell of soldering rosin and we may blow a few fuses
while fiddling with wiring.
Starts around 1:00 in the afternoon but breakfast will be provided to early arrivals.
9 Hemlock Dr. in Burton. Don't park beside the house—there's a lot of ice on the roof.
Bring your soldering iron if you'd like to have it properly dressed.
You're also invited to bring along non-functioning electrical items such as fuel pumps, windscreen wiper motors, horns, relays etc.

There's just something about a v12 and 14,000 RPM!

Report on FABAC's January Meeting/Eating
The Ale house on King Street saw an unusually large group of
FABACians gather for dinner. We overwhelmed our booking and a few were
forced to sit at the kiddee table in the corner. No real meeting took
place as it was:
a) too noisy
b) too crowded with 'civilians' (non-FABACians)
c) too spread out This really wasn't a problem since there wasn't a whole lot to report anyway.

Curtis is the editor of British v8 Magazine and the webmaster for Britishv8.org. I know Curtis and have met him several times at various British v8 meets in the USA over the past 8 years. He knows British cars thoroughly and has driven an MGB GT with a Buick v8 conversion for the past 20 years. "

A request from MGA Ralph H.
I am trying to resurrect the MGA trailer project and in doing so have run into a snag for the axle. I cannot get the same hub bolt pattern as the MGA has (4 bolt by 4.45 inch) but I can get a 4 bolt by 4 inch (on the diagonal) hub. Just so happens this fits the small MGs Midget and many others and I was hoping somebody might have a couple old rims (and if there are bald tyres so much the better) that they would part with for a modest fee. I need a set to roll around the shop as I work on it and will buy a set of matching mag wheels on completion. I realize they would be 13 inch and the car is 15 inch but that may look all right.
So hunt around in the garage and drop me a note if you can help.
