The year ended with a blowout of biblical proportions at Anne and John's place. The food was stellar (of course) and very little was left to be taken home. The cheese cake, despite being still somewhat frozen, was inhaled in record time.
Gary delivered a synopsis of the year and all were surprised to hear that we held almost three dozen events throughout the season. Many of the outings were small and spur of the moment but that might possibly have been why we had so many. He urged the gathering to continue in this vein.
John B suggested that we start an initiative to advertise and gain more members. This suggestion was warmly received and several ideas were batted around.
It was nice to have Ellie and Jim attend after a long absence. Family commitments have kept them busy and we all took the opportunity to play catch up.
