Saint Andrews: blue skies, perfect temperature, great drive, good food, and fine fellowship

Eating ice cream while sitting on ice cream.
What more could one ask?! All that I could ask is that you the reader had a similar day.
Son Dana took the Morgan tiller and expertly did most of the driving for the day. We met the rest of the FABACian contingent at Harvey Station—it consisted of one vehicle—John and Shirley Ann's beautiful 74 MGB. So, for this run, it was quality, not quantity. (Where was everyone?!!)
It's always a beautiful drive to Saint Andrews and the destination never disappoints. Such was our day which included a stroll, great eats at Gables, and an interesting and informative time at the beautiful Huntsman Centre.

Lunchtime conversation was excellent and was followed by ice cream treats, a treat from John. The four of us regretted that more had not joined us on such a beautiful day, but hoped that you had a good one as well. Dana and I certainly enjoyed it and appreciated the organization by Dwight and John. (Thanks too, John, for the ice cream!)

Sounds like a very good day. Weren't those seats a bit "cool" on the butt? :-) We ended up in St. Andrews last Saturday after an LBC drive along the Fundy coast in search of ice cream and seafood.
Regrettably I spent this past Saturday going to Campbellton to attend a memorial service for a very good friend.

I salute your choice. I met Tom at Francis' shop and had the greatest admiration for him. Always helpful, full of automotive experience he was always willing to share, and in every way a gentle man. I shall miss him.
