Actually that is the car on this months calendar hanging in my office, beautiful. Called the "Blue train special" it was used by a Bentley exec. to beat the running of the Blue train that ran from Cannes to London in March 1930. The car did win the cross Europe race buy a staggering FOUR minutes. Wow That is Top Gear sort of material.
REVISION TO LAST POST; The Blue Train Special Bentley traveled from Cannes all the way to to London in the same time (less four minutes) as the Blue Train went from Cannes to Calais. From there one would still need to board a steamer and sail the Channel and train up to London.
