I tried to book 20 rooms with double beds. I was informed by Ms. Roberts the hotels are not big enough to accommodate large groups. We could try booking individually using this ID # 4843599 and receive a group rate. Here is her contact information.

Last June I had dinner at the restuarant in the Quality Inn, Matane. Very nice meal.
In Perce, I stayed at the Motel Mirage. Good spot, but not central.
Thanks for the planning efforts. This is going to be fun. As noted in the initial posting by me and others one concern is no breaks to see the scenery or stop and take a walk or boat trip etc. 16.5 hours driving (Google maps in a regular car) over a 1400+ Km loop in four days driving may not sound like much but is going to be hard core in an LBC. We would be game to add an extra night (2 night) stop at/near Perce.
As this is just before the PEI BATANS weekend at Green gables we would be carrying on to PEI for an early start on the links.

John is to be congratulated for all his fine work researching places, prices, and itinerary. Carolyn and I have booked a room for Matane, and an AirBnB for two nights in Percé. I really like Ralph’s suggestion of taking a bit of time from the road. Perhaps the club should consider two groups— Group One wishing to spend one night at each stop as outlined by John, and Group Two who wish to spend two nights in Percé area. Carolyn and I will decide on our final place to stay after our meeting.
