I will be having a work party this Thursday to strip apart the engine, gearbox, transfer box and to break down the engine to see if it can be used or if it is trash. Only then can I proceed with sorting out the drivetrain for installation this coming spring.
Lunch will be provided as usual around noon.

If your engine is trash, I believe we can find a nice lightweight V8 engine to stuff in there.

If the engine is trash then I have found engine mounts in the uk that allow the v8 to be installed without cutting or welding the chassis so could go that route. KP

I must thank the wonderful guys of the fabac work party. Bob , Joe, Dwight ,and Phil who all turned up to strip down the Landry lump. Turns out one cylinder was full of rust although the bottom was in great nick
Considering a rebuild can cost $3000 the guys voted that I put the rover v8 in if I can get a fitting kit from the uk.
So maybe v8 it is!!!!
