Bob's Notes from last night's meeting

In defiance of David's posted instructions, a full 15 FABACians showed up at Porters Diner well before 5:30 PM.  We wondered if we where going to get in trouble for flouting authority and even made a point of bragging to David when he wandered in a few minutes before 5:30.

Points from the dinner -er- meeting.
  • We have a new member in the name of Pamela Hill.  She has a 1970 MGB and we hope to see her often.
  • The upcoming tour to Lorneville for lobster has been postponed until the following Sunday (the 26th) due to variable weather.  There is no inside facility there so we need reasonable assurance of dry weather.  More info will be posted here.
  • Bob E gave a short report on Alex Hoffman.  Folks are encouraged to visit him and Lise in Nackawic.
  • Gary gave a quick update on this summers Percé Rock in Gaspé.
  • Windsor is happening on July 12th to the 14th.  The Friday evening gathering is again taking place.
  • There was a proposal to make a trip to a car museum in Grand Digne sometime in June.
  • Dwight proposed a visit to a small local car museum.  He will arrange it.  It is only open at 8:00AM on Sunday mornings.
  • Likely jealous of Dan's new status, Kelvin has applied for Canadian citizenship and is planning a HUGE party once his conversion to the tribe is complete.
  • The next meeting will be at the Chinese restaurant at the Day's Inn in Oromocto.
