Knuckling under to the ongoing restrictions on getting together due to some darned plague, we held the February meeting on Zoom (sure wish I'd bought stock in that company a year ago).
There was a variable number of folks present but we seemed to stabilize at 14 or so. This doesnot include the three cats, one of whom was a camera hog.
Gary yelled us all down and got some business out of the way.
***We need suggestions for events to celebrate our 20 years of undetected crime***
- One suggestion is to invite a reporter from the local paper to accompany us on an outing.
- John Dewitt is planning a weekend trip to the Island this summer. We hope to connect with the PEI gang.
- I will arrange the sugar bush run, and one to Lorneville for lobster.
- Dan Nichols will arrange a run to the Evandale restaurant this summer.
- There's going to be a Zoom (there's that company again) tour of Gerald Elliot's workshop.
The monthly dinners can also resume in Carleton Park.
