Report on FABAC February Meeting

Knuckling under to the ongoing restrictions on getting together due to some darned plague, we held the February meeting on Zoom (sure wish I'd bought stock in that company a year ago).

There was a variable number of folks present but we seemed to stabilize at 14 or so.  This does
not include the three cats, one of whom was a camera hog.
Gary yelled us all down and got some business out of the way.
***We need suggestions for events to celebrate our 20 years of undetected crime***
  • One suggestion is to invite a reporter from the local paper  to accompany us on an outing.
Other planned or possible runs are:
  • John Dewitt is planning a weekend trip to the Island this summer.  We hope to connect with the PEI gang.
  • I will arrange the sugar bush run, and one to Lorneville for lobster.
  • Dan Nichols will arrange a run to the Evandale restaurant this summer.
  • There's going to be a Zoom (there's that company again) tour of Gerald Elliot's workshop.
We raised the prospect of resuming our breakfasts in Odell Park again once it gets warmer.
The monthly dinners can also resume in Carleton Park.
