April Meeting (Zoom)

Once again, Dan Nichols played host to the monthly meeting on Zoom.  It was attended by a bunch of folks with nothing better to do, and we spent most of the time gossiping about those who weren't in attendance.

  • The Quebec City tour was discussed at length and many expressed concerns with the rising Covid numbers.  It was decided that those who still want to go should get together
  •  on their own.
  • There was much disappointment about the cancellation of the lobster run.  A lobster roll, if it were available, would cost the same as a tank of gas.
  • The Windsor show is still happening and several folks indicated that they plan to attend.
  • The town of Gagetown has invited us to their show on July 9th or 10th (to be determined later).
  • Sussex car swap meet on May 28th and 29th will be attended by several folks here.
  • Also in Sussex is the annual BalloonFest on September 9th to 11th.  This is an excellent event that we've attended in the past.
  • A call was made for some day trips in the area.  Picnics and take-outs would serve well to attract hungry FABACians.  Nothing fancy is needed, just a spot to go to and a nice day.
