Here's the latest update on my search for LED bulbs for our cars. The Lucas LLB989 (BA9 base) as used mostly for side lights has proven to be elusive. The three examples I've tried have been not much brighter that the standard incandescent lights and had bizarre light spread patterns. These ones, however, are "Oh my Cow I'm blind!" bright. The light output looked even too. I'll do a comparison sometime with my light meter but you should grab these now. That means YOU David. Your rear tail lights are like a mouse holding a match.Rob
