Report on October Dinner Meeting

With rain and cold winds battering us, we held our first monthly meeting inside at the Pizza Delight on the north side.
Gary opened by thanking Ann C for arranging tonight's food fight.  He also introduced his brother and sister in law, Gord and Dorothy.  We've met them before at the last outing and it looks like they've been sucked into the fold.  Ideas for their initiation are being taken.
John D was thanked for his run to Hartland which was well attended.  He's got another shorter run going on this weekend.  It's already on the blog.
After a three year hiatus, we're going to visit the German restaurant in Knightsville for Octoberfest.  See the best here.
The Christmas party will be held on the 14th of December.  Gary is arranging it and is likely to book us at the Freddy Inn again.  It's been a great spot for many years. Dianne E. will be collecting donations for the local food banks at the party.
The next meeting will be held at Moco's on the corner of King and Regent.
*Note!  Covid is on the rise again, bringing up the possibility of cancelling in person meetings.  We may have to go back to Zoom meetings again*  Watch here for news.
Rob E. with fingers and toes crossed.
