Substitute any other LBC or classic car for Mini and many of us have been there. If you are “nuts” to own a classic car, are you “double nuts” if you own two? :~)

Jaguar Trip to Jasper
Rob says, "Have been following all the trips and activity's that the club have done over the summer, looks like everyone has had a great time.
"Here are some pictures from our first long trip to the Canadian Rockies in the Jag. All went well with just a couple of minor hiccups. (we ran out of refreshments at one point!) and we developed a slight misfire which induced some pucker moments. Did the usual drill, checked plug wires and coil connections, tightened spark plug caps onto wires, seemed to help slightly. Gas mileage worked out to be an amazing 22+ mpg. The weather was fabulous and the mountain roads were no hard task for the Jag. We took a half day rail trip to Dunster in BC and got some marvelous pics of Mt. Robson from the dome carriage which gave us a bird's eye view of the scenery. The local fire hall at Dunster is in one of the photographs! A tour bus picked us up from Dunster and brought us back to Jasper with a couple of stops at Rearguard Falls and Mt. Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. We would definitely recommend this trip.
We also took the tour of the Columbia ice fields on the ice explorer vehicle and filled our water bottle with glacier water. YUM! The ice we were standing on was as thick as the Eiffel Tower is tall. The accommodation was awesome and had resident geese and elk wandering around. There was a first class restaurant on site which would definitely be FABAC approved. All in All, it was an outstanding vacation, the only thing missing was the companionship of the club!

Feedback on the PEI British Car Days
I mentioned in my report for the above show that I would compile a note that I would forward to the PEI car show organizers with our recommendations as to what worked and what needed improvement. So with that in mind would those of you who attended please send me your recommendations. I'll also be sending a copy of this to our PEI British Car Club friends as requested by them. I'd like to get this done soon while the details are still fresh.

I think I speak for all of us who followed you on last weeks tour of South Western New Brunswick, in saying that it was a great tour. The accommodations were great the attractions were great and, with the exception of Bob's ignition, it was all great. Once again I traveled on roads that didn't know even know existed. I think I put almost 1000 miles on the old Healey.
The visit to McAdam Station, the dinner at Bob Grants, Rod's tour of Granite town (aka St. George) and the reception of FABAC were all just excellent.
I would especially like to thank Jim and Lorraine Woodford for opening their beautiful home to us and throwing such a party.
I would also like to the guys and gals at the Haughty Hound Pub for providing a first class ending to a perfect day.
