Pretty close. This is the road leading from Lone Pine in the Owens Valley of California into Death Valley. It's a good hour and a half drive and never a straight stretch. During the winter one has the whole damn place to yourself and can have some serious fun. For Phil, I'll send the ultimate Valley of Fire photo.
