Fine Dining at the McAdam Train Station Dining Room

    During our last get together (Dumfries Lobster Dinner) we decided it was time again to visit the old train station in McAdam for an evening dinner event preferably on a Saturday.

     I've done some preliminary work and on putting this together and here's what I have.

     The first availability for a Saturday sit down meal in the large dining room would be June 11. This would include a main course, dessert and coffee/tea as well as a full tour of this historic station including the just finished restored areas. We as a group would have to pick one main course from the following full course dinners: Turkey, Roast Beef, or Baked Ham. We would have the main dining room which is wonderfully finished and full of atmosphere and color of the bygone rail and steam era. They will, as Frank Carol (the Town Mayor) says, will do it all up in proper decor with linens, a well decorated era dining room and possibly some local entertainment if available. This would truly be a wonderful evening out and one to certainly be part of. The cost is $25.00 per person tax included.

     So in order to book this we need a minimum of 25 people! I also need which of the 3 main course selections you prefer understanding the majority vote will determine which main course that will be served to all of us. If you have a food allergy they are prepared to put something together. I need to know that as well.

     I would suggest dinner for 5:30pm which would mean leaving Fredericton at 4:30pm. I'll finalize this detail upon confirmation.
