A bit on the Show & Shine by the Foreign Automobile Club

I hope you did something very special on Saturday, June 22nd, or else you are going to feel bad. Five FABACian vehicles, led by Jim W, made the run to the Dieppe Foreign Car Show & Shine. The weather was spectacular throughout the day. The Parc was an excellent venue for showing off the wonderful variety of automobiles that showed up—everything from a Ferrari, a Lamborgini and a Maserati to a Simca, Citroens, Fiats, BMWs and oodles of British cars and more. Approximately two or three dozen cars encircled a duck pond. It was a relaxing and pleasant day. The on-site facilities were very good and the hosts were efficient and friendly.
The challenge for the future of this event would likely involve major advertising, and finding a way to not only attract participants and public, but also finding strategies to encourage people to stay longer.
...and what a wonderful drive home. :-)

Is that TWO Volvo P1800's?! I love those things! They're the second most gorgeous cars in the world.

Yes, two. One was a station wagon.
Do you remember the TV series, The Saint—nice little P1800 he used to drive.

What, no mention of the brave little 2CV leading the pack-pity.
