Almost-New Years Eve party report

Despite a lot of button pushing and much encouragement from those gathered,  Jim B was having no success with his little camera so pictures may or may not accompany this article.
The last event of the year was a quiet-ish affair at Lorraine and Jim's place where the lack of FABACians was made up for with lots of Jim's musical guests.  We wondered what had happened to so many of the others since the roads were fine; the snow having finished falling by morning.
In any event we all had fun.  There was just enough food and my bottle of absinthe managed to just last the evening.  The pub saw a small but steady clientèle sampling the assortment of drinks who had no end of problems getting the damn things open.  We have to buy the bar a heavy duty bottle top twister-offer.   The evening ended with the news that Dianne and I had just become grandparents (Dianne had been hovering over her phone all evening) and the group was tickled pink to learn that our new granddaughter had been named after an LBC (Morgan).
It was a fine way to end the year and we all hope that the snow ends soon.
Happy new year from Dianne and Bob Earl and granddaughter Morgan.

Sorry Jim and Lorraine for not getting to your party. My snow blower broke the day before the storm so had to clear drive by hand. To make matters worse I ran out of heating oil at the old house and had to clear that one as well so the oil tanker could get in.By 6pm I was too pooped to do anything. But even 2 FABACAN's can make it a party so am sure you all enjoyed yourselves.
Happy New Year to everone.
