The President's Report on the St. Georges Day Gathering

Once again Kelvin hosted the St. Georges Day gathering at his place on this past weekend. This was a truly wonderful event, well evidenced by the smiles, chuckles and general merriment of the 29 folks who attended. It's a good thing Kelvin has a huge garage to hold the event. Not only does he have the space for a gathering like this but it's so well equipped and maintained with all the necessities of auto maintenance. Many including myself were pretty impressed with it all.

Where this was a pot luck, the varied main dishes, decadent desserts and  drinks were all delicious. Food in general as we all know is a very important part of this club and that was certainly well shown here to the delight of all.

Before gathering at Kelvin's, the majority of the group participated in a well organized rally  that Kelvin also put together for the group. From all indications it too was a grand success. Top prize went to Larry and Bob for their top navigating skills. That said, everyone did well in that they all finished within 5 minutes of the winners. I'd say we have a group who are really keen to rally and certainly proficient at it too!

All in all we all had a great time. Kelvin obviously put a major effort into this combined event for us for which we are all very appreciative. Many thanks Kelvin—good show!
