John DeW has put forward a couple of excellent options for this Gaspé trip. He asks that you review these proposals and comment or suggest changes that you think might add to the experience. Basically, there is a four day (three overnight stays) and a three day (two overnight stays) version. John is looking into getting a group rate for the hotel stays—especially if we select Days Inn for each overnight. Stay tuned and make a comment, suggestion, criticism or complaint.

I did the trip last June. John's proposal looks good, particularly the 4 day version. I actually took five days, with a full day in Perce to do a boat tour of Bonaventure Island etc. My day1 was to Matane via Edmunston and Lake Temisquota(?). I don't think you will find many Day's Inns. If you are looking for better prices on the accommodations, go in early June before the peak tourist season.
PRETTY SURE WE WOULD BE IN FOR THIS TRIP AND EVEN UP TO 5 NIGHTS STAY SO THE AREA CAN BE EXPLORED WITH MULTI NIGHTS IN ONE SPOT. BOAT TRIPS AND SUCH

Carolyn and I have already put this in our calendars. We would be in favour of adding another day, but look forward to it as planned by John.
