Report on October Meeting

We hit-up a new-ish restaurant in the Days Inn in Oromocto with much success.  The 'Carnation' Chinese restaurant served the usual fare.  As we waited for the food to arrive, the earlier diners left giving us free reign of the place.  Gary took the floor for a surprisingly quick synopsis of the recent happenings:
  • The Carter House run went off well with a good turnout, almost capacity.  The weather was top down  beautiful and no one got lost or led us astray.
  • King Ralph has invited us down to St John to meet up with BATANS. **News flash** This outing has been cancelled due to BATANs deciding to push on through the port  city.  WE assume that the weather is behind this, NOT that they don't like us.
  • Next Friday sees a car show at the Hampton High School.  Details are already on the site.
  • Next Sunday (28th) is our last 'summer' run as we hit Adolph's in Knightsville for the Octoberfest dinner.
  • John Dewitt presented his suggestion for a Gaspé trip to happen next summer/fall.  There was considerable interest.
  • Our November meeting will be at Sam Snead's upstairs.
Bob E. wants to know why everyone left so early.
