Once again John DeWitt has come through with another wonderful trip itinerary. This time for a day trip to Deer Island.

Here are his details:
I’m planning to drive on Saturday from Fredericton to Saint George then to Deer Island. We will meet at the Riverside Resort near the Mactaquac Dam. We'll depart there at 9:30 driving route three to St. Andrews and then take Route 127 to St George. Take the ferry to Deer Island. Having lunch in the middle of the island. Last time I was there the fish and chips were great. On the way back come up the main road to Fredericton Junction then to Fredericton. If anyone wishes to join me please meet me at the Riverside Resort and we will leave around 9:30.

Sounds like a nice run. Hope to be at the Riverside Resort at 0930 tomorrow. Looks like the 45th Parallel restaurant is open but we haven't called them. Margot and David R.
