October dinner & meeting, Cannons Cross Pub

The October dinner saw a record turnout of folks, coming close to filling the long table set aside for us.  This was especially nice considering the amount of construction many members had to circumnavigate to get here.  The City Of Freddy was even nice enough to close one lane of the Princess Margaret Bridge just for us.

• We would all thank Bruce & Johanna for arranging the dinner as the night wore on as the excellent food was served in a timely manner.
• Phil's breakfasts continue to be a hit, and provide a weekly informal get together for us. Although it's become something of a gentleman's breakfast, the ladies are always encouraged and welcome to attend.
• John D's recent tour was well attended and a BIG hit.
• The Holiday Party will be on the 13th of December, a Wednesday.  We need at least 20  people to get the discount.
• The November dinner meeting will be at the Northside Pizza Delight.
• After months of agonizing planning, Bruce had to cancel the solar tour for this year due to imminent eye surgery (he's getting a third one added to his forehead).
• Bob E. (me) made a desperate plea for folks to puh-leeez! indicate their intention to attend the Octoberfest run.
