Info on Single License Plates in New Brunswick

Thanks to Dwight for tracking this down. Here is the reply he received from Service New Brunswick:

There is a New Single Seasonal Plate that is available for owners of seasonal or antique vehicles.

A single seasonal plate can only be displayed on a vehicle that is operated from April 1st to October 31st. A seasonal plate can be issued from any Service New Brunswick office.

If you wish to obtain one of these plates, you will need to surrender your current plates at a SNB Office and fill out a single seasonal plate application form and pay a plate fee of $25.

Effective April 1st , 2010 persons with these plates will be required to pay a $50.00 Registration renewal fee.

Thank you, Dwight, for taking the initiative on this topic. I followed up on your lead and obtained further information from SNB. All the details can be found on our FABAC FOCUS site. I'll be interested in hearing your comments.
