What a fantastic segment. I had the pleasure of having a Scottish fellow here at the Inn a few weeks back that had raced Jaguar C type for the Ecurie Ecosse team in the late 50's and 60's. raced against Sir Sterling Moss in his prime (and beat him occasionally). but the best stories he told were off the track. Like getting the cars to the track on the Scottish high roads with no speed limits. they had five cars, two went on the carrier and three were driven to the track for spares and parts if needed. He entertained us for an hour with tales of a very different time. but as sir Moss noted in the interview they lost several drivers a year to crashes and fire. Ralph H
