BobE's report on the Sugar Run

The first run of the season wasn't so much a run as it was an 'eat' (can I use eat as a noun David?) (Sure, Bob. The English language is dynamic—ever-changing.)
Under beautifully sunny skies and almost warm temps, we all met at the Dumfies Maple syrup shack and filled up with more cholesterol than folks our age should have.  We promised...absolutely promised to eat salads the rest of the weekend to compensate.  Rumours, gossip, and interesting news was exchanged with the most popular topic being the recent sacking of Clarkson from "Top Gear".  Of course we also made fun of and had sport with the reputations of everyone who wasn't there.   Bruce offered a prize to any person driving an LBC.  As promised, I'd brought along a part from my LBC which was offered instead.  As it was the closest item, I was presented with some stuff that he didn't want anymore. Be warned that the Pendrels are doing some spring cleaning and there will probably be numerous
more prizes offered.
