Just a reminder: Railroad Pie Run

Sunday's the day for the run to the McAdam train station for their famous pies. It looks like a glorious day for a drive! No need to respond - just show up on Sunday at the Brookside Mall on the Northside for departure at 11:30.

Hi Ralph

Not sure what Dan is Planning, but from the Brookside Mall, I would guess he is planning up the hanwell Road, continuing on until we meet #3 just outside Harvey and from there to McAdam. They serve pie until they run out. We missed out on them last year. They were all gone.

The Hanwell Road, just north of Kingswood Golf Club is under construction for several hundred metres. The road surface is very rough at that point. David R

Our run will go to the McAdam Railway Station for Railway Pie. We will leave at 11:30 from the Sobeys parking lot at the Brookside Mall on the Northside. We will drive along route 105 (Ring Road), crossing at Mactaquac, continuing on 102 to route 3. $7.00 for pie and coffee/tea. We are going early (they start at 1:00) so we will have our choice of over 20 kinds of pie.

My little red 1969 MGB has been sitting in my garage and needs a good run. Anyone interested in taking her out? She is in excellent shape..Viviane Edwards
