Some of our meeting venues are able to provide a separate space for our group. How do you feel about the fact that often our FABAC meetings are held in public sections of restaurants?

I prefer venues that can provide a separate meeting space. It does not need to be completely isolated but we need sufficient separation so that we do not need to curtail ourselves due to concerns for disturbing others.
examples that work:
McGinnis Landing
Sam Sneed
777 (I know but they've only been closed down a couple of time)
Porter's (not ideal - but it seemed to work last time)
Montana's (not ideal - but can work if we have the entire center section)
Blue Door - upstairs

Frank;s Finer Diner has a somewhat separated space on the first level as well as a large room downstairs.

Agree with Dwight's list, however would like the option to have a glass of wine or beer with our meal,so that would discount one or two establishments.

Agreed. I also like the idea of close parking in the summer so that we can see each other's cars.
