Report on May 21st Meeting

There are darn few times when I enjoy living in Burton and this evening was one of them.  After all that rain and cold weather the skies parted and gave us a beautiful spring sky.  I got to enjoy the undulating upper 102 then follow the meandering 105 upriver into Fredericton under this strange blue colour.
A large gathering gathered in Dimitri's tonight to feast on the finest (and most reasonably priced) Greek fare around. Larry started the meeting with an offer to host the second annual FABAC Fun Days at their place.  Vote for your preferred date of either 19 July or 23rd August.  Our webmaster will tally the votes.  (that's you David.  You weren't there to defend yourself so you got boned for the job). Gary recounted the three outings we've enjoyed so far but subdued the gang with news of the delay of our planned multi-club gathering later in the summer due to Jim's disposition.  On that point, Robert circulated a poster featuring Jim's car for all members to sign.  He'll get it to Jim with the clubs wishes for a speedy recovery. Dwight proffered the tour of the Huntsman museum in St Andrews for the 14th of June.  This will be an all day run encompassing lunch and supper.  As the days will be long at this time we should get home before dark. The Dieppe show-n-shine is scheduled for the 21st of June and a few of us are planning an over-nighter at the casino.  Contact the card shark - slot queen, Dianne at Scott's Nursery for details. Windsor was quickly discussed.  It looks to be another large contingent headed over. Finally, our next meeting was scheduled for June 18th at McGinnis's Landing.
We broke up much too early but I got to repeat my earlier drive, heading back downriver under still clear skies and warm-ish temperatures.
  Film at eleven!

We are able to attend Larry and Sandy's "do" on either of the proposed dates.
