Many thanks to Dan and Susan for leading a great day tour to McAdam. The drive to McAdam was terrific, with wonderful country scenery, well maintained roads (yes there are still a few in NB) and great weather. As can be seen from John's photos, we had a great turnout for the event including newbies to our club, Gordon and Dorothy A. with their Miata MX5. We hope to see more of them in the future. Our long time friends Jim and Ellie also joined us for the day. It was so good to see them both. We shared great memories. We hope to see more of them as well.
We could not have asked for a better day for viewing the many Canadian Coasters participants that were the focus of the tour. Also from John's photos, you can see some of the beautiful restored vehicles belonging to members of the Canadian Coasters. For more of their history and who they are, please see their site. You may want to join.
As mentioned, it was a beautiful day, but hot, so many of us also sought the shaded relief from the sun to enjoy the sights, conversations and lunch for those who preferred a picnic lunch. Others decided for a restaurant meal which I too understand was very good. So all in all it was a very enjoyable day.
All the best,
Gary
