The weather forecast is good, the route is idyllic, so how about joining John and Shirley Ann B for a tour this Sunday to Blacks Harbour and St. Andrews?
We’ll leave Fredericton at 10.45 am from Timmies at the Exhibition Grounds and head down Rt 101 and 785 to Blacks Harbour and Comeau’s Restaurant for lunch (A Dennis W recommendation). From St. Andrews we’ll tour along Rt 127 and 3 back to the capital. (Hopefully, our Saint John members will join us at Blacks Harbour.
This will be a rain or shine event.

Dennis & Brenda would like to join you - you just can't do that trip often enough.
Comeau's is always an excellent choice, but has anyone been down route 785 recently?
The last time I was through there part of the road was dirt. What a shame, because the area around lake Utopia is outstanding for LBCs

Brenda and I went through 2 weeks ago. The dirt is down to a couple of kms, but heavy equipment was working on it, and it was a bit rough. We can go slow, but we cannot control those coming the other way!!
It is a pretty drive.

This sounds like a perfect trip, a great area to tour and a great spot to eat. Unfortunately we are already committed and cannot participate.
Have a good tour and we'll read about it later.
